What we collect when you contact us, why we hold it, and how to have it corrected or removed.
Who we are
RailGrid Technologies Limited is a technology company registered in Tanzania and based in Dar es Salaam. We are the data controller for information submitted through this website, railgrid.co.tz. For any question about this notice, or about information we hold, write to info@railgrid.co.tz.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. Through the enquiry, walkthrough request and Capacity Building registration forms on this site, that is your name, job title, organisation, work email address, telephone number where you provide one, and whatever you tell us about what you are trying to achieve.
We record anonymous counts of which pages and buttons are used on this site. Those counts carry no name, email address or other identifying detail.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry, to arrange and run a scoping conversation, and to correspond with you about the engagement you asked about. Nothing more. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry.
Where it is held
Submissions are stored in our own ERPNext system, hosted on Frappe Cloud, and are readable only by authorised RailGrid staff who are signed in. A copy of each submission is sent by email to info@railgrid.co.tz, and a confirmation is sent to the address you provided. We use a third‑party email delivery service to send those messages; it processes the message on our instruction only.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and registration records for as long as the enquiry is live, and afterwards for as long as we may reasonably need them for our own records. Where a record is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@railgrid.co.tz and we will act on the request. You may withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time by the same route.
