Terms and Conditions
The terms on which railgrid.co.tz is made available. Using the Site means you accept them.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
This website, railgrid.co.tz (the "Site"), is operated by RailGrid Technologies Limited ("RailGrid", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in the United Republic of Tanzania, based in Dar es Salaam, reachable at info@railgrid.co.tz and +255 795 300 400. These terms govern your use of the Site and the information on it. They do not govern the supply of software, implementation, hosting, support or training services: those are supplied only under a written agreement signed by both parties, which prevails over anything on this Site.
2. Using the Site
You may browse the Site, and print or download pages for your own or your organisation's internal, non‑commercial reference. You may not copy, republish, scrape, frame or redistribute the Site's content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server or any connected system; interfere with the Site's operation; or use the enquiry forms to send spam, malicious content or anything unlawful. The Site's forms are for genuine business enquiries about RailGrid's services.
3. Information on the Site is not an offer
Descriptions of the platform, products, hosting models, timelines and outcomes describe capabilities in general terms. They are an invitation to discuss, not a quotation, warranty or contractual commitment. Scope, deliverables, prices, timelines and service levels for any engagement are set only in the written agreement for that engagement. Screens, dashboards and figures shown on the Site are illustrative; where a client outcome is described, the client's identity is withheld under a confidentiality agreement, figures are rounded and results depend on the client's own circumstances.
4. Accuracy and changes
We take care to keep the Site accurate and current, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or omissions, and we may change or remove content, features or availability at any time without notice. Statements about Tanzanian statutory rules (PAYE, NSSF, WCF, SDL, TRA e‑invoicing and similar) describe what the platform is configured to support at the time of writing; they are not tax, legal or accounting advice and you should confirm your own obligations with the relevant authority or adviser.
5. Intellectual property
The Site, its text, design, graphics, logos and the names RailGrid, HCMOS™, ESS, ICDOS™ and ASS are the property of RailGrid Technologies Limited or are used with permission, and are protected by the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act and the Trade and Service Marks Act of Tanzania and by international treaties. Nothing on the Site grants you any licence to them beyond the use permitted in section 2.
ERPNext and Frappe are trademarks of Frappe Technologies Pvt. Ltd. RailGrid implements and supports ERPNext, which is published under the GNU General Public License v3; RailGrid is an independent company and the Site is not endorsed by Frappe Technologies. Other product names mentioned (for example Exact, Sage, Tally) belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those products.
6. Enquiries and personal data
Personal data you send through the Site is handled as set out in our Privacy notice. By ticking the consent box on a form you confirm you have read it. Please do not send confidential business information through the forms; we are glad to sign a non‑disclosure agreement before any detailed discussion.
7. Links
The Site links to third‑party websites for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Liability
The Site is provided "as is" for general information. To the fullest extent the law allows, RailGrid excludes all warranties about the Site and accepts no liability for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from use of or reliance on the Site or its content, or from inability to use it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Liability under any services agreement is governed by that agreement, not by these terms.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising from the Site are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the courts of Tanzania have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its effective date, is the one that applies. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
